Week 11 : Testing & Evaluation (Part 2)

This week our topic will cover more to evaluation part. 2 type of evaluating the courseware which is :

1. Formative - to see the process and the result
2. Summative - at the end of evaluation phase

Why need to do an evaluating?

• Learnability: How easy is it for users to accomplish basic tasks the first time they encounter the design?
• Efficiency: Once users have learned the design, how quickly can they perform tasks?
• Memorability: When users return to the design after a period of not using it, how easily can they reestablish proficiency?
• Errors: How many errors do users make, how severe are these errors, and how easily can they recover from the errors? 
• Satisfaction: How pleasant is it to use the design?

Evaluation Procedure:

• one-to-one

• field testing

Week 10 : Semester Break

This week is Mid Term Break. It's suppose on week 8 substitute on this week. It's also 1st week of school holiday. We continue our development phase of courseware with evaluating from time to time to get better.

 

Week 9 : Presentation Prototype Courseware

Hari ini 3 kumpulan mempersembahkan hasil courseware 60% siap. Ini merupakan hasil courseware kumpulan kami.

Ada beberapa komen daripada pensyarah iaitu Encik Juhazren untuk penambahbaikan. Antaranya ialah :

1. Hari dan Tarikh jika boleh buat ikut masa semasa.
2. Warna bintang pada soalan MCQ hampir sama... minta diubah.
3. Gunakan gabungan grafik dan interaktiviti untuk membantu pengguna memahami perisian.
4. Kurangkan penggunaan ayat.
5. Suara untuk setiap penerangan dan button. 

Antara masalah yang sedang kami hadapi buat masa ini ialah :

1. Kami bercadang nak masukkan video cara-cara menggunakan setiap peralatan tetapi belum dapat cara terbaik untuk paparkan video tersebut. Encik Juhazren mencadangkan agar video tersebut dipaparkan pada lay out papan hijau lebih sesuai.
2. Masalah pautan daripada slot games padankan pasangan yang dibangunkan menggunakan Actionscript 3.0 tidak boleh untuk kembali semula ke dalam courseware utama.
